Katherine Kelly, DVM, CVA, CVFT Veterinarian

Dr Katherine Kelly

Dr. Katherine Kelly is a passionate healer with an alternative approach to medicine. She is dedicated to helping her patients move through a wide range of physical and emotional transformations in the safest way possible. Her treatments are specifically tailored to the needs of each patient to make sure they receive the approach that works best for them.

Dr. Kelly grew up in NJ riding horses and helping her parents take care of a small farm of alpacas, goats, and chickens. During these years, she nurtured her passion for animal care and discovered she wanted to become a veterinarian. In 2013, Dr. Kelly graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences and a minor in Equine Science. She continued her studies at Auburn University and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Early into her career, Dr. Kelly became frustrated by the limitations of practicing with only western medicine. She discovered that incorporating eastern medicine allowed her to care for her geriatric and terminally ill patients in a more complete and personalized manner. She received her certifications in acupuncture and food therapy through the Chi University which utilizes traditional Chinese medicine. Dr. Kelly then received her certification in mixed animal chiropractic through Options for Animals.

When she’s not working, Dr. Katherine Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband Dr. Ian Kelly (also a DVM) and her fur family (Belle and Moose). Together they enjoy gardening, backpacking, camping, snowboarding, and all activities outdoors.
